Hi,

How does one save a .txt memory as a .TMX file, please? (It's not very clear to me from the WordFast manual).

This is the second major thing I can't figure out about Wf 5.0, the first being how to select files in a folder. I've been using Wf for years and I've done these operations countless times.

My guess is that this new version is not quite ready. Better to stick with 4.22t22 for now.

I checked the Wordfast Yahoo group, and there was a recent message about .TMX by Yves C. himself that read:
Reminder: the TMX export is in the TM editor/Tools/Special filters.

And indeed, there it was!

So I've been able to save my translation memory as .TMX, which my client requested.

I had seen a mention of the new button on the Wf mailing list but hadn't paid close attention because I was using SDLX for a big job.

Aside from exporting in TMX, the new TM Editor set of tools is quite impressive, enough to bring me back to Wf more often.
