Basically you are asking references, examples and everything else on any type of official documents for translating English - Portuguese (Brasil)...

As you seem to be a new translator I can imagine why your "colleagues" might be a little hesitant to provide details on EVERYTHING to get you started in the world of translation.

You might want to do a little research YOURSELF and ask people specific questions like
"is this a good dictionary"? ...
