I started my translation activities in 2008; first only translating for my employers (a research institute and a ministerial background organisation in Hungary) as part of my broader daily tasks. These works mostly included scientific, administrative and policy texts, such as studies, guidelines and strategies.

Based on this experience, I obtained a Master's Degree in Translation in 2010 to be able to officially work as a freelance translator. I have been a part-time translator since then, having experience in various fields such as social sciences, economics, (European and international) policies and legislation, project management, marketing and advertising. 

My hobbies include reading serious and not-so-serious literature (i.e. history, politics and comics), watching series and sports, learning new languages and translation skills and being with my family.
