I am a book and a language person, that went for a life in my other passion; health care/ medicine/ alternative medicine. I did this instead of using my language skills in my professional life. I always expressed myself as a linguist, and loved to talk and to read both norwegian and english. I went into the military, took off as a medic to the UN service in Bosnia, where I volunteered in an International Transport platoon, to use my vocal skills more. 

Further, I had a Batchelor in Nursing, where lots of books and articles are in english writing, and it has all been fun; but fun challenges! In the Norwegian University Hospital, I often had the opportunity to use my language skills to help foreign patients and their relatives with explanations about medical questions. And they had to be accurate, being in the medical field. 

During all these years (40 of them), I always have my love for book reading, and big/fat ones are my favourite. I love complicated books and I do remember "The Hobbit" and "Lord of the Rings" as early favourites, when I read them in early 90-ies.

The last 10-15 years I proceeded reading articles and scientific papers/ books in english and in norwegian, to extend my knowledge about medicine and neutrition, among other items. Today I read my news on international sites, that keep me updated in this world.

I am dedicated to translate a variation of texts for a customer, since I have lived a life with a lot of experiences, and can do both professional and day to day conversations, and also subtexting. When I enter this line of work, I can only say that I am a hard working nurse, and that what I take on, I will deliver on. Keeping my word is as important to me as it is for my employer.
