Bio
I have been in a linguistic field for more than 15 years, starting from the Japanese-Korean translation, then teaching EFL, in the combination of translating English-Korean professionally and voluntarily. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Portuguese, minor degree in Japanese, and Master's degree in Linguistics from Australian university.
My experience in translation is diverse, advertising, education, tourism, electronics and academic studies but I would like to broaden my specialty to more sophisticated area such as science and medicine, etc.
One thing that makes me special is that I have a broad and detail-oriented knowledge of 'how language works' through my educational background, studying 3 different foreign languages, and my experience in living/working/traveling around the world. This allows me to produce more sophisticated result with great completeness and proficiency.
My recent work was translating the instruction manual, English->Korean, Portuguese->Korean, and proofreading for MT(machine translated) texts.
