My name is Vera Slijepcevic. I graduated in 1994 on the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Industrial Engineering (5 years study). Then, I worked a few different jobs in different scopes, what gave me wide area of using English language for correspondence, reading, speaking, every day for professional purposes. I worked 4 years as talented researcher on the faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and beside my job, I was member of organizational board for International Symposium of Industrial Engineering, also worked as assistant of foreign guest professors (from England) for European Center for Peace and Development. After, I worked in marketing agency, selling imported industrial and motor oils, and later, arrived into world of tobacco dealers working for Belgium company. I consulted in negotiations with foreigners one pharmaceutical company and one company working on geology research and ground energy sources. Also I work with USA companies producing personal safety equipment. With this experience in business, where for necessity of job, I had to translate material from Serbian into English and in opposite direction, including international contracts translation, as well as user guides, product characteristics, documents, my English knowledge became developed in different areas.
