AS A FREELANCE TRANSLATOR:
¨ Interpreter of Barcelona's Trade Show Place
¨ IT and telecommunications: software and web page localization, technical specifications, user guides, help documents, quality documents, etc. Last remarkable project: translation of the user guide of a printer/copier/fax machine for Xerox.
¨ Film and TV: dubbing and subtitling of movies, cartoons and series, live subtitling and closed captioning.
¨ Marketing: promotions, market research, company memos, press releases, campaigns, letters, reports.
¨ Commercial: letters, reports, proposals of collaboration, tenders, offers, presentations.
¨ Legal: contracts, licenses, non-disclosure agreements.

AS AN IN-HOUSE TRANSLATOR:
¨ Translator of the IT company Transiciel, in Barcelona, participating in the development of a tool for the European Commission. Duties: Translation and production of the technical documentation (user manuals, software requirements, etc.), functional and linguistic quality control, software translation and localization, creation and maintenance of a style guide, and translation of the company’s administrative, commercial and legal documents (July 2003- January 2005)
¨ Translator of Corporació Catalana de Ràdio i Televisió (the Catalan Radio and TV). Duties: Translation of software programs and user guides (Catalan-Spanish-English), language advisor, translation of marketing documents (product datasheets, presentations to clients, etc.) (Dec. 2001- June 2003)
