Holder of an MA - ECONOMICS & SOCIAL ADMINISTRATION (finale dissertation on “Ethnic Variations & Populations Migrations in Europe Since Roman Times”), I have worked many years in the Books Publishing/Translating Industry – wherefrom I’ve developed outstanding competencies, beside others skills, in TRANSLATION/ TRANSLATION PROJECT MANAGEMENT (and, subsequently, even more years in the Commercial Sector as a Customer Services with Languages Manager (an Operator, Consultant & recruitment/Head-Hunting Agent). – Being a French citizen (of African descent), I am fluent in French, comfortable in Spanish and also in Ouoloff, Toucouleurs & Serere (which are three languages spoken all over West Africa: Senegal, The Gambia, Mali. Mauritania and Conakry Guinea). – I am comprehensively computer-literate with ample mastery of all the Microsoft Office’s applications through an ECDL-Level 3 (Advanced) training: consisting of seven modules (1 – Basic Concepts of IT; 2 – Using the Computer & Managing Files; 3 – Word processing; 4 – Databases; 5 – Spreadsheets; 6 – PowerPoint and 7- Outlook & Internet Explorer); an IBT-Level 3 (Advanced) which is an integrated usage of all the above-mentioned Applications to create complex documents); and have keen familiarity with other packages such as Quark-X-Press, Printmaster Gold, ® SDL Trados Freelance-Studio 2011-2007 (+ DEJA-VU + WORDFAST + OMEGA-T, etc…) & Microsoft Office Publisher. [ I have a comprehensive and long-standing experience of working with Databases (later on improved upon with the ECDL training) through monitoring and managing authors’, booksellers’ & translators’ databases during my time at les Editions “Le Passeur”; driving licences databases during my mandatory conscription in the French Army; and clients’ databases during my time with TMA Global Plc, a Marketing Company [position which encompassed, de facto, a quadruple-headed line of duties as: 1)- a Recruitment Consultant; 2)- a Human Resource Administrator; 3)- a Customer service(/Marketeer) Team Leader/Manager-International Events Organiser and 4)- a General Administrator.] – Comprehensive knowledge of (& Industry experience with) CRM Systems, Marketing Database Solutions or Campaign Management solutions and operations. - Direct/digital marketing software or Email Marketing Solutions from: Relational Data Modelling, Database Design, Data Analysis, Data Processing or Data Management. - Experience with Campaign Management Software Vendor i.e. Aprimo, Unica, Responsys, Alterian, Apteco. - Experience with many CRM Software Vendor or Systems i.e. FrontRange, GoldMine, Amdocs, Epiphany, MS Dynamics CRM, Salesforce, SalesLogix etc... - Proficient usage of many DMS (Documents Management Systems), including InfoPath; experienced first-port-of-contact with both the public and businesses at large; and skilled seasoned contract-negotiator.

I am a versatile quick learner (be it with new IT softwares, or administrative procedures – or, indeed, in mentally positioning a Business within its specific sector, among its competitors); I genuinely relish problem-solving, and yet strive always to avoid creating any; and have a good legal brain (not only from my university years: intellectually suffused with Constitutional, Civic, Commercial and Criminal perspectives, but also on the durable daily exercise of a diverse, eclectic, and rich professional life.) - Professionally and through my long-standing commitment to voluntary works, I have acquired a sound work-ethics compass in my guiding acquaintance with the RRA, DDA. DPA (Races Relations, Disability Discrimination & Data Protection Acts), the FOI (Freedom of Information) and the Investor in People Standards. – I have excellent extensive all-round Customer Service and Administrative skills. – As hinted by what precedes, a practiced open-minded multi-tasker, I have demonstrated, in my self-employment as in my previous contractual engagements, a well-honed ability to work to deadlines, on my own initiative or inserted within a team as a dynamic, imaginative and forward-driving partner. A focused man, with FLAIR, always eager to get the job done, I am amiable, fair, diplomatic and constructive in the light of the goals set. And all the skills, qualities and experiences adumbrated above, I intend to bring to bear, alongside any guiding principle advocated by ProZ.COM’s AGENCIES, in the exercise of this specific assignment.
