Interlex Language Services started out as a small group of independent translators based in the Netherlands and has developed into a highly professional organisation offering 24 languages and over 100 language pairs. What hasn’t changed is our commitment to detail and service. We mostly match translators into pairs, one living in the Netherlands or in the UK, and one in the ‘home’ country, thereby ensuring a combination of local knowledge and international requirements. We have high expectations but we pay on time and at a fair rate. We use only experienced and qualified native speakers and we do not outsource work to other agencies.

In January 2008 we launched our new online translation workflow system. Using this cloud based facility our clients can upload their texts directly onto our server; we can allocate this to the most suitable translator and they in turn can upload their finished translation, cutting out time spent sending e-mails and attachments. Clients can see the progress of their translation online and translators have all the administration and invoicing taken care of. In 2013 we re-launched this system as WordTEAM and it is now available for other groups of translators to use - including a FREE version for small groups of up to 5 translators.

Important Information for (potential) translators
We are not accepting any more translators for the language pairs we already offer on our website. The demand from translators has become more than we can deal with, so if you are offering us what we already have, we apologize in advance for not replying. However, not all language pairs are covered, so we would be interested in hearing from any experienced and qualified translator who can offer language pairs that we don't yet have.
