Italian term

Business/Commerce (general)
For an article about Coca-Cola's business in Italy:
SOCIB rappresenta il secondo bottigliatore...con...11 magazzini periferici, 4 aree commerciali e un fatturato globale (di) XXX...
Sales areas? Commercial areas? Or (as I think most likely) business areas?
Or am I missing an obvious translation here?

retail center
A retail (sales) center is one where the product is sold direct to the public. The company retail center is supported by the
distribution centers whose primary function is to deliver the bottled product to the customer site (convenience stores, grocery stores, gas stations..)Some distribution centers are dual-performers in the sense that they also have an area for retail sales (individuals that pick up the merchandise themselves.)

Discussion
At this point in the text, it has just been mentioned "oltre 550 dipendenti (di cui oltre 250 impiegati nell'area commerciale)" and for this occurrence I used "including over 250 in sales", with which I feel pretty comfortable.
So I did not want to jump directly to "commercial" as an automatic translation...
