Décharge aux contrôleur aux comptes

French to English Bus/Financial Accounting associations
Help - this is not my field! It is the title on a Power Point presentation refering to the audited accounts. It is followed by Décharge aux Directoire.
It is the "décharge aux" that's giving me a problem.
Thanks for your help!

Swiss French! Yes, that is very helpful! Thanks a lot! It also explains why I couldn't find the expression in my dicos. A problem we often come across with Swiss French.

Selected

release of xxx (the auditor / the management board) from liability

This is usually expressed as "quitus" in French - release from liability arising in the performance of the person's official tasks. Often given to directors and to the statutory auditors at the end of their term of office.

I would assume (but you should check that the context confirms this) that this is exactly the same thing.

btw the French expression is usually just \"quitus aux administrateurs\" (or whoever).
