Egy gőzturbina tengelykapcsoló meghibásodásról szóló lenti szövegben mi lehet a windage guard (és egy másik kérdésben) a pilgrim bolt magyar megfelelője?

Péter! Lehet, sőt valószínű, hogy védő..., de biztosan nem burkolat.
Végül is nem derült ki mi a dolog magyar neve. Angolul tudó turbinaszakértő se tudta, de valamiféle hővédő (tömszelencevédő) karimára tippelt.

Yes, it is possible, even very likely, that it is a heat protection and/or windage loss (air resistance) reduction device (of flange shape) within heavy coupling assemblies.
I also searched the net and found some references to both functions in English but nothing in Hungarian.
I would actually be interested in the Hungarian equivalent of the term.
Turbine specialists use a rather specialized slang.

The viscous drag on rotating components in gas turbine engines represents both a direct loss of power from the cycle and an input of heat into the secondary (cooling) air system. Hotter cooling air in turn means increased flow requirements. The effects of windage on performance are therefore compounded. To facilitate accurate temperature predictions of highly stressed components, information is needed on windage characteristics of all elements in the secondary cooling system. Much information is available in the literature for disks, cones, cylinders, bolts, etc., but little has been published on windage heating in high-speed seals. Results are presented for experiments carried out (at representative nondimensional conditions) on different designs of labyrinth seals. The results are compared with values calculated from the simple momentum balance theory suggested by McGreeham and Ko [13] and with several values determined from CFD analysis.

Gas Turbines Benefit from Radial Fit Bolts on CCPP’s
As the new millennium dawned the intense new build programme of Combined Cycle Power Plants in the USA was underway to increase efficiency and reduce electricity production costs.
It is common knowledge that ‘conventional coupling bolts’ suffer from seizure which results in damage to both the bolt and coupling bolt hole each time they are removed. All of which creates additional costs to that of bolt replacement.

Siemens Westinghouse decided to tackle this problem and specified PILGRIM’s Radial Fit Bolt for 43 new build 501F Gas Turbines with Pasadena 1&2 in Texas the first Power Plant to take delivery.

Solution
The principle of the PILGRIM’s Radial Fit Bolt is of a taper shank bolt drawn into a matching taper sleeve with parallel outer diameter which expands fractionally to produce a perfect interference condition in to the bolt hole. This condition, which “conventional” fitted bolts do not achieve, eliminates movement between mating components. Also with the expansion of the sleeve, exact flange alignment and concentricity is achieved. Axial clamp load is then created by a hydraulic puller. Once the puller draws the tapered bolt into its sleeve it is then used to tension the bolt once the nuts are fitted.
