Please correct the German entry Bitte den total falschen Eintrag korrigieren: "sterling" bedeuted nach Webster's "conforming to the highest standards" also "erstklassig" ; also wäre "erstklassige Präsentation" die beste Übersetzung.

Mit Brigitte. Bin mir fast sicher, dass hier "der große Erfolg" der Titel (Filme? Zeitschriften?) auf dem Markt ist. Context is king.

Mir geht es wie Kostan - ich verstehe das nicht ganz: Was sind das für "titles on the market"? Ich tendiere auch in Richtung "ausgezeichnet", "hervorragend", "super" - aber das hängt vom Kontext und Gesamtstil ab. Mehr Info wäre hilfreich.

agree David Moore (X) : The meaning of sterling is indisputably "good quality", so "agree" to (2); (1) isn't really ALL that wide of the mark. But I'm not at all sure that the "erfolg" really qualifies for an "außerordentlich" description - I'd say that's a bit exaggerated...
