Qualification Committees are required to assess and qualify suppliers as part of the acquisition process. GD Proc. Support offers expert knowledge on A&P processes and is sufficiently independent from contracting and supplier selection, to be able to provide expert secretariat support through the Section for Qualification Committee Support. The Section Head for Qualification Committee Support ensures the assignment and provision of support to each of the nominated and established Qualification Committees for the duration of the committees’ tenure, in alignment with requirements, associated policies and terms of reference. Support is provided to each of the committees through secretariat expert advice to the nominated committee chairman and committee members. This includes:
