Selection
From a document from Spain for translation to British English. The document itself relates in title to "Onboarding", joining a new company.
HR/headhunting-speak? I can see how the translation could be "onboarding" itself, but perhaps that focuses too much on the process or company and "aterrizaje" focuses more on what happens to the new recruit in the period when they first arrive.
"¿cómo son tus recuerdos de la “fase de aterrizaje” en tu última incorporación?"

"landing phase"
I'd definitely do it literally, particularly in view of the source's quotation marks.
See ref.

Example sentence:
APPROACH AND LANDING – This is the single most demanding phase of flight, and the one that carries the highest risk.

integration period
While I understand the reference to aviation terminology, for an employee in HR interview, it seems a bit literal and the employee mightn ot be familiar with this terminology as it is very technical.
Example sentence:
What do you remember about your integration period when you joined your last company?
2 hrs
initiation period/phase/phasing in period
Other possibilities.
