shipowner-charterer Explanation: This is a bit ambiguous as it is not clear if the reference is to one or two subjects. Usually the shipowner and the charterer are two different parties (see link below) but it would seem logical that a shipowner can also charter its own vessels, so I would use the above, equally ambiguous, format.
