really not sure that "shipping label" is correct here. You say in heading these are shipping "documents" and have "foglietto" =slip or piece of paper
and "generalmente in duplice copia" =duplicate copy which would not be the case for a label.
What is this for? A single (small) package? Or is it a carton or container?

for quantity of goods loaded I would keep Bill of Lading which details the items, quantity and weight. And Lucrezia is right about "Polizza di Carico" being usual translation for Bill of Lading.

I'm just going with the context you've given. Every consignment needs a bill of lading as the truck is loaded up. A "label" is something that is stuck onto the individual item.

Note from asker:
Apparently the right translation is "shipping label". See: http://simon.worldarcstudio.com/cms/ckfinder/userfiles/files/3150/Supply%20Chain%20B2B/SS%20Shipping%20Label.jpg Do you agree? |
It is that is used to certify the quantity of goods loaded on a truck. |
I agree with Lucrezia: it can't be a bill of lading, which is issued at the port of loading and, as Lucrezia said, is a contract between the owner of the goods and the carrier. That's why I think it is more similar to a "shipping label". |

Grazie, Arrigo. Avevo visto anch'io quella traduzione sul glossario di Proz.com, ma non mi sembra sia quel che cerco. Mi sbaglio? |
