Mammals express multiple cytochromes P450 simultaneously in a variety of tissues, including the liver, kidney, lung, adrenal, gonads, brain, and most others. For cytochromes P450 that are expressed in many tissues or cell types, the tissue/cell type-specific expression might be associated with their special physiological roles. Several cytochrome P450 enzymes are found not only in different cell types and tissues, but also in different subcellular compartments. Generally, all mammalian cytochrome P450 enzymes are membrane bound. The two major groups are represented by microsomal cytochromes P450 that reside in the endoplasmic reticulum, and mitochondrial cytochromes P450, that reside in the inner mitochondrial membrane.

Cred că am nevoie de un timp de reflecţie în seara asta :-)
După ce am afişat referinţa şi am recitit fraza ta, am început să am dubii...nu se potriveşte în context.
Sistemul enzimatic citocrom P450 este unul singur (complex, superfamilie, etc.) format din mai multe izoenzime.
Eu aş traduce "mai multe izoenzime ale citocromului P450"...

Între timp, mi-am amintit că izoenzimele respective apar frecvent menţionate ca izoforme...(culmea este că am tradus o mulţime despre izoformele citocromului P450...)
...deci este foarte corect să spui:
numeroase/multiple izoforme are citocromului P450
Iată câteva exemple:
De metabolismul nelfinavirului raspund in vitro multiple izoforme ale citocromului P-450, inclusiv CYP3A.

| Da, probabil că este vorba despre izoenzime. Enzimele sunt mai multe, nu citocromii, înţeleg eu. Gând la gând :) |
