DVX3 professional suddenly in FREE mode

Hi,

All of a sudden my DVX3 turned to Free version, and I cannot activate it again using the serial anymore, it says I exceeded allowed activation count.

Has this happened to anybody else?

Have you used DVX3 on any other machine? Mar 31, 2018

In some licence models you can transfer your DVX3 licence between different computers (e.g. a desktop and a laptop, for example if you use it when travelling). When you transfer it back to the original machine, you may need to deactivate it on the second or third machine.
If this does not help, you may need to write to Atril support and ask them to reset your activation count.

I used it on the same laptop all the time. Today, from one moment to another, it just turned to Free version.

I wrote to Atril support, but not sure if they answer on weekends.

I rebooted, reinstalled, still Free version, and not possible to activate.
Guess will have to wait for Atril to reply.

Have you changed anything to your operating system, like restore part of it? That would cause problems with the license.

No restore, maybe some windows update caused it.

Atril finally responded after a second email and 3 days...

Could activate again although no idea what caused it...
