Analysis of files made from a parent file with internal repetitions

Hello all,

I received a single file with a high number of repetitions. As it is a very large file with a short deadline, I need to split it up and share it out to my colleagues. Is there a free program out there that can do a batch analysis of these files and tell me how many internal repetitions and repetitions between files each smaller file will have? We work primarily on Wordfast Anywhere. Thanks!!
