I have been working as a translator and/or interpreter for over ten years for, among others, the United Nations. I hold the UN Language Proficiency Certificate in English and French, and in 2001 I was part of a team translating 18,000+ pages of EU legislation into Romanian under a PHARE-sponsored project. At present, I am again part of the team performing the translation of the acquis communautaire into Romanian, both as a translator and as a terminologist. Other areas of expertise: software localisation, telecommunications, immigration, human rights and humanitarian law, medicine, media, fiction. Always there to meet your linguistic needs.
Professional translator, terminologist and revisor, with a two-year experience in legal translations and a five-year experience in technical translations. Senior member of and terminology co-coordinator for the team working on the translation of the acquis communautaire. Also translator, revisor and part-time teaching assistant at the Applied Modern Languages Department of Babes-Bolyai University. Masters degree in Translation Studies and Terminology.

I have 1 year experience as in-house translator at a software localization company. Besides that, in my 4 year experience as freelance translator I have worked on the localization of software, web sites, PDAs and handhelds, mobile phones.
I am also a web designer myself, so I am familiar with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, Apache.
I have a MA degree in Translation and Terminology Studies. I am proficient in the use of CAT and localization software like: Trados, Alchemy Catalyst, RoboHelp.
