English to Thai: The Skills We've Lost to Technology (and How to Get Them Back)
Source text - English The Skills We've Lost to Technology (and How to Get Them Back)
Thorin Klosowski
Technology usually makes our lives easier. It also makes it so we don't have to practice a few basic skills. After years of smartphone use, many of us can't even remember a phone number. Here's how to get the skills that matter back.
It's easy to cry wolf and lament for a time that used to be. People argue that before technology ruled our lives, we were happier, smarter, and better at general living. That utopian vision of the past is a bit too rose tinted, but the point remains that we've lost some basic human skills over the years. Relearning them makes us a little less dependent on technology, flexes our brain muscles, and gives us an opportunity to interact with the world. You don't have to be a luddite to appreciate most of these skills and getting them back is easy enough for even the most technologically reliant amongst us.

Imagine! Every morning, a bank transfers 86,400 baht to your account nevertheless the outstanding balance which you do not use during the day will be deducted every evening. What will you do? Surely, you will withdraw every single baht, right!!!!
We all have this bank which is called “Time”. It will transfer 86,400 minutes to your bank account. Then every night, the outstanding balance will be cleared. If you miss a chance in investing it; you will lose. It can be neither accumulated nor overdrawn. Your account will be opened daily and then every night the entire outstanding balance will be cleared. If you lose profit during the day, you cannot turn back the time to fix. There is no “tomorrow” withdrawal. You must live with present amount of today money for the fullest profits; no matter for health, happiness and success! The clock is ticking, do your best for today.
