Any idea what förarplatsskylt is in English please?
Big advert printed on the back of a large van, for example.
TIA

Another example Clear Channel

Transit Interior
Driver panels
The largest interior format. Placed on the short ends of commuter train carriages and behind the driver on buses.

It is a little like ... It is sort of like someone asking "what is the word for 'nyckel' that is used on a car."
Helen Johnson (asker) Mar 14, 2013:
Thank you so much!
Deane Goltermann Mar 14, 2013:
Ah-ha! Charles' suggestion makes the most sense then. Those adverts are common here -- on the partition wall behind the driver's cab!
Helen Johnson (asker) Mar 14, 2013:
Sorry but it doesn't say. It's just on an invoice with a company name. Take a look at Wallstreet advertising on Google (which showed the term I've asked about)
Deane Goltermann Mar 14, 2013:
Don't quite understand Are you talking about an advertising sign outside the driver's cab? or is this part of the advert text describing where the driver sits? Kind of like the sign right outside the driver's cab that says 'Driver'.

We do use 'cab' or 'driver's cab' for the place where the person sits/stands and drives -- the train, truck, bus, or van ... but this isn't really the question is it?

I only gave it a "1" because there isn't sufficient context to really know what it being referred to with any degree of reasonable certainity.

neutral SafeTex : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_advertising (I do understand that this was a very tentative suggestion anyway)

I didn't say "mobile advertising;" I said ""mobile advert" -- BIG difference - not advertising via mobile phones (subset of mobile marketing). See instead eg Urgent Courier's Mobile AdVert scheme.
