Could you possibly provide us with a good adaptation of this Spanish saying into English? I can think of "Monkey see, monkey do", but I'm after something more accurate!
Cheers!

Monkey see,monkey do.
think your suggestion is excellent. It is about apeing, mimicing,so similar expressions such as like lambs to the slaughter or following like sheep are less accurate than the one you proposed.

Comment: "Hiya,
Thanks a lot, "nicetomeetyou" ;) Glad you agreed with me. I'm going to nicely combine sheep and monkeys into a little "animal" explanation of the saying!
Cheers,
Sonia"

: Donde va Vicente, va la gente. There´s no question here. Vicente chooses sth. and the rest of the people agree with him in his choice, or do the same thing as Vicente does.

Comment: "Sorry, I don't agree, this is Spanish would correspond more to "Allá donde fueras, haz lo que vieras". Its meaning is more on the lines of adapting yourself to a new culture/way of living!
Thanks for the input, though! :)

Sorry and many thanks too!!!

Discussion
Marian, yes, that's basically the gist of it, implying someone has no own opinion/strong will and he just sheepishly follows the masses! I also like "monkey see, monkey do", but I agree on the tone bit, that's why I posted the question, to see whether you lots could give us a hand! Thanks a lot for all your help!
