Gegen 4.30 Uhr am Morgen sei ein Notruf aus dem Haus eingegangen, teilte die Polizei mit. Die Mitarbeiter der Notrufzentrale hätten Schüsse gehört, dann sei die Leitung abgebrochen, hieß es weiter. Am Tatort wurden keine Anzeichen für Fremdverschulden gefunden. Der ermittelnde Sheriff Bob Doyle erklärte, man habe keine Spuren gefunden, die auf einen Einbruch oder einen Kampf schließen lassen.
