Any better ideas than "courses and degrees"? As an alternative: "semesters and degrees" (which seems more precise but which only gets 5 Google hits). Thanks in advance for all help!

I would call the Ausbildungsabschnitte "coursework modules" and the Ausbildungsabschlüsse "completion of degree program", since it seems that this is geared towards University education.
