En una solicitud de divorcio de Venezuela, aparece lo siguiente:

"En fecha xxx, se levantó acta mediante la cual se dejó constancia de la ***comparecencia de manera virtual*** de los ciudadanos XXX y XXX plenamente identificados."
Mi traducción: "On the date XXX, a record was issued whereby the ***virtual appearance*** of the following citizens, who were fully identified, was declared:XXX and XXX".

"Virtual appearance" me suena mal. Encontré ejemplos relacionados al ámbito legal en los que se habla de "virtual court appearance".

agree  Sandro Tomasi: I see Bárbara is worried that virtual appearance doesn’t sound right, but it is sufficient. Certainly used in NY courts — even in its implicit form.
