dar ma intreb in contextul de mai jos cum ar merge tradus mai bine: este vorba despre o palarie care "nu umbla singura" prin oras, pe care n-o s-o mai vada pe capul altor femei cu care se intalneste:

Aici este un dialog interior, in care "I" si "you" inseamna acelasi lucru. Ea nu converseaza cu altcineva.

"You only live once" e o constatare impersonala, care s-ar putea traduce "O viata avem" sau chiar "viata e scurta".

In nici un caz nu se poate spune "you won't meet myself".

"That hat does something for you and you do something for the hat" - ea se admira singura ce bine ii sta palaria si cum pune ea in valoare palaria prin frumusetea ei.

Nu vad problema.
