May 20, 2009 11:06: Bhaskara Rao S changed "Level" from "Non-PRO" to "PRO"

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

PRO (3): satish krishna itikela, ashok jayanti, Bhaskara Rao S

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Example sentence:

ఈ రోజు వంట స్వాదిష్టం గావుంది.

Ruchikaramaina

delicious is a word mostly, may be only used for food's taste.

In telugu, unanimously used word for this is రుచికరమైన (Ruchikaramaina)

Ruchyamaina-రుచ్యమైన and swadistam-స్వాదిష్టం suggested by friend Ashok Jayanti is more bookish and far from day-to-day usage.

Now, lets look at words suggested by Mr satish krishna Itikela:
రుచిగల (Ruchigala) - its like something having taste. Ruchikaramaina word more appropriate as it conveys meaning 'Tasty' (delicious)
భోగ్యమైన (Bhogyamaina)- That which can be enjoyed...(by body) little far from being appropriate.
మధురమైన (Madhuramain) It's used for 'Sweet', where as "Delicious" food need not be always sweet, so its not for context.
ఇంపైన (Impaina) Its like favourite, Impaina Sangeetam...favourite Music. So If delicious is Impaina, can we use delicious Music?
రమ్యమైన (Ramyamain) This word used for cute or beautiful mostly and least for foof. so cute food is what we have to rethink at.
Example sentence:

రుచికరమైన (delicious) వంటకాలు ప్రతి చోటా లభించవు.

రుచికరమైన(delicious) పదార్థాలు గుర్తు వస్తేనే నోరూరుతుంది.
