So I'm doing two things in this answer--first, suggesting an alternate interpretation of PTS if it turns out you aren't already sure of that. If this really is a borrowed English acronym, then there are a whole bunch to choose from...
Second, suggesting a different direction for selvitysprojekti: If this is related to some sort of drug trial or research, I would expect the "selvitys" going on to be some sort of study or assessment/analysis/etc of some part of a larger R&D project.
Your suggestion of "brief" (are you getting this from MOT 'antaa selvitys (tiedot jstk asiasta) brief' -- like a press briefing) seems pretty far afield to me.
