I haven't even been on ProZ that long, but I immediately recognised his name.
He also helped me when I started out my business.
Condolences to his family and friends. He will surely be missed.

I just found out yesterday, I thought it was a mistake. José was a great contributor with content-rich advice. He gave me very specific ideas directly, without even being asked. A great asset to the translation and interpretation professions has left us. Rest in Peace, and many blessings on his family.

So sad to hear this news. Unless his photo was taken many moons ago, he was still very much in his prime. His death is a real loss to the world of translation. My condolences to his loved ones.
