agree  John Gare (X): Yes, my English-English dictionary states that the English 'nil' is a contraction of the Latin 'nihil' (= nothing, a thing of no value). Null, on the other hand, comes from 'nullus' (= no, none). I think Null is the equivalent of the Indonesian (and Duc
