请问：（英翻中）英文文件中出现华人的汉语拼音名如何处理？

如果是著名人物，上网一查便知。
普通人的名字，只能让本人告知。一般联系不到本人，只好不翻译，英文照原样留着。

我倒是见过一种处理方式，可供参考。

外国新闻报导中国人名时，会直接使用拼音。这类新闻翻译回中文时，通常会按读音翻译过来，如Lin Jiayi翻译成：林嘉怡（音），表示读音是这个，但具体人名汉字可能不同。

这种经常在各种从外媒引用回国内媒体的时候看到，我支持这种处理方式

个人意见：
能查到中文名的直接用，查不到的再说。
查不到的时候，根据读者是谁和项目具体情况判断一下要不要翻译，一般可以自己翻译（后面括号里注明一下音译自xxx）。
我觉得如果目标读者中有很多是完全不懂英文的人，或这个名字究竟谁并不是那么重要的话，最好还是自己翻译成中文。

看看官媒的写法，下面这个人叫 Peter Liang，这个人应该不... See more
