Yes, providing your IBAN, BIC and/or bank account number is a fairly standard part of most clients' onboarding process. As for the ID card, I suggest you take a photo of it, and then use image software to obscure the numbers, and perhaps also your middle name if you feel that that is private. The ID card helps to convince the client that you are real.

IBAN is OK but only if there is a real job for me, although they will get it in my invoice. But ID card pic is a hard NO.
One Chinese ag. I had been working for for five years before that asked me to send them my ID card pic placed next to my face. Basically, it's a mugshot. I told them to pay me what they owed me and to forget about me.

... depending on what is actually shown on your ID card, obscure or blur any barcode, QR code, finger/thumb-print image or document number that may otherwise be machine-readable, even in a photo or scan of the original card.
