crossSearch problem with Linguee

When I use crossSearch to look up German words/phrases on Linguee, accented letters (ä,ö,ü etc) are not tranferred correctly. As a result, the lookup fails to find a match, although the spell-checker usually identifies the correct word(s). I am using WinXP SP2, Across 5.0 SP1_EN, IE8.0. This only happens with Linguee, other sites (e.g. Google Translate) work correctly. Any suggestions?

Temporary fix found Jul 30, 2011

I have found a temporary fix for this problem by experimentation:
On the 'Language Settings' tab for 'crossSearch Internet Resource Settings' for 'Linguee.com', I have changed the 'Code Pages setting' from UTF-8 (the default) to 'Language Default'. crossSearch now works correctly.
