Sorry for the simple question but I used to work with Studio and not with Across.
1) I have translated through a server but I want to save my job in my cross tank. Is this impossible?
2) Are my cross tank and cross term not available when I am working with a server?
Many thanks in advance for your reply
Anne

It may depend on the project settings. In case "Export TMX " route does not work, you can try saving your project as a backup file (ara), open it with MS Access and find a way to export them.

Deception
Feb 26, 2011
Hello Anne,
some year ago or so I asked the same question to the across support, my deception was immense when they told me that I cannot use my personal databases when working for an agency on a server access base. The argument at that time was that many users would feel uncomfortable to think that their crossTank contents could leak to the outside.

Hello Anne,
some year ago or so I asked the same question to the across support, my deception was immense when they told me that I cannot use my personal databases when working for an agency on a server access base. Unless these things have changed in the recent time, I don't think this is possible (neither 1 nor 2).
How is it possible or even conceivable to hinder a translator to work with HIS memory, termbase and to keep the result of HIS work...I can't imagine it!! Finally, it's a prejudice for the customer too...
I tried to manage it with TMX -Export but only a few segments have been imported. Regarding the second way, which backup file do you mean?
It seems a nightmare and unreal this way to proceed...

May be there are other possibilities...I still hope...
