I've a problem with Across, and I hope that someone could help me.
I'm working for an agency, that upload jobs on two server, and I never had problems.
Last week another agency contacted me, for a job with Across. They sent me the softkey, username and password and I downloaded the job, and so far I haven't problems.
Yesterday, I downloaded a patch from the server of the first agency, and then Across begin to crash...

Now, if I try to work and I open Across, I cannot go beyond the starting view.
I become this messages:
"Cannot load DSE module 'DSEDotNetModule.dll'. Error code = 2."
Then, I've the possibility to enter in Standalone personal edition (but there I haven't jobs...:-(), but if I try to enter in any server (of the bot agency) I become that messges:
"invalid username or password'
or (for the server of the second agency):
'Current database version is larger then 329'
'Failed to patch database'
In conclusion...I cannot work!!
Someone could help me.

Hello Alessandra,
I'm not sure this will work, but you can try. If the company send you the CWU files separately, say, per e-mail, perhaps you can open them from the standalone version and work offline in this version. Once, as I moved and hadn't any internet connection yet so that I couldn't work connected to the server, I worked offline this way. However, I'm not sure if it works due to the softkey. You can also try to contact the across-support, they should help you.

They have an excellent customer service and are very helpful!

The support call me to install a little software, with them the technical could see the view on my pc and control it.
We did this procedure for two times, and at the end he copied on my pc and installed some applications in SQL server.
Honestly, it was to complicated for me and I cannot explain.

....they "hijacked" your PC which is called, I think, remote control. They did it for me, too, and I felt quite uncomfortable in these 2 hours:-).
