Although we were two Filipino translating the game into Philippine language I have noticed that there were instances of words translated by my co-translator that needs to be changed to make it appropriate in meaning. Example of that is "Iron Mine" which my colleague translated into "Pabrika ng Bakal". The correct translation should be "Minahan ng Bakal" because "Pabrika" is equivalent to the english word "Factory".
Translation - Tagalog Makikita ninyo ang aking gawa sa http://www.statika.imperiaonline.org at piliin ang bandera ng Pilipinas. Kahit dalawa kami na "pinoy" na nagsasalin sa wikang Pilipino ng larong ito, napansin ko na may mga pagkakataon na may mga salitang naisalin ng kapwa ko tagapagsalin-wika, ang kinakailangan pa na baguhin upang maitama ang kahulugan. Halimbawa nito ay ang "Iron Mine" na isinalin sa wikang tagalog, ng aking kasama sa trabaho, bilang "Pabrika ng Bakal". Ang tamang salin ay dapat "Minahan ng Bakal" sapagkat ang "Pabrika" ay katumbas ay katumbas ng wikang ingles na "Factory".
