I have extensive experience in editing and proofreading, specializing in scientific and technical texts, data sheets, scientific papers, dissertations, presentations, patents, standard operating procedures, technical manuals, internal laboratory reports, advertisements and brochures as well as general texts. My experience in translation/interpretation is not only in scientific and technical translations, but also in marketing research areas. I have worked for PEXEL Ltd, a well-known market research company specialising in telephone surveys in the UK. I participated in market research projects on behalf of BP (British Petroleum) via the market research company called PEXEL Ltd. The purpose on these two surveys was to maintain industrial customers satisfied by finding out what their requirements and priorities were. My responsibility of these research projects was not only to translate the questionnaire from English into Thai, also to conduct the telephone interviews to the BP customers in Thailand. The majority of Thai BP customers were major industrial companies, which were based in various regions of Thailand. I have completed these projects well, partially because I was able to speak and recognize different regional accents and dialogs of Thai.
