Hello:

I'm using WIndows Vista and reinstalling SDL TradosStudio 2011.

After cleaning the old files and trying to reinstall the program, at the "Installing .NET Framework 3.5 SP1" step I'm getting the following error:

"The directory C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Temp is read-only. The installation cannot proceed."

It cancels right away.

I've already cleaned that directory and disabled its read-only feature. I'm also trying to reinstal... See more

I've already cleaned that directory and disabled its read-only feature. I'm also trying to reinstall it as administrator. Full registry cleaning already done too. Is there anyone who could help me with this issue?

.NET Frame update Mar 7, 2014

Hi
1) Delete all Trados (ALL)
2) REBOOT
3) Update your NET Frame - http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=16211
4) REBOOT
5) (OPTIONAL) If you have your MS OFFICE software disc or chance to install) erase it and reinstall
6) REBOOT
7) Go to your Trados account download the full package with out the actualization, in... See more

Remember that VISTA (a real pain in....) has NET frame update problems, at this point... So this is a coin toss...

If all this long time painfull provcess fail...
Go to support directly and some will ask you to let manage via remote and figth the NET Frame issue...
