A writer fills space with words,
their given meaning challenges the intellect
their catching sense pervades the self.

The muse is a reckless joker the luck to be blamed
for space is filled and erased by a writer with words that elate.

If this art entertains the reader, gracious, it is. If this art helps feed my hunger, sate be me.

If this art is never read, someone may find it hidden in the crevices of space, reverberating, splitting, and merging in the dot at the end.

L-Ispazju huwa l-ħamrija fejn kittieba jiltaqgħu flimkien, u ż-żerriegħa tal-kliem huma mxerda ħalli tkun tista' titfaċċa xi nebbieta ta' poeżija.

II.
L-Ispazju, mhux mimli ħalli l-kliem jinkitbu u l-memorja tinħeles.

III.
Kittieb jimla l-ispazju bi kliem,
it-tifsira tagħhom tisfida l-intellett,
is-sens tagħhom li jiġbdek jinxtered mal-ego.

IV.
Il-muża hu ġawker ferfuxi li jwaħħal fix-xorti
għax l-ispazju hu mimli u mħassar minn kittieb bi kliem li jimlew b'ferħ.

V.
Jekk din l-arti tferraħ lill-qarrej, hi ta' min ifaħħarha. Jekk din l-arti tgħin biex ittaffili l-ġuħ, jien mxabba'.
