Go up the ramp into the quire, from where you can also see the presbytery. The patterned floor tiles of the presbytery and the fine carved ***CHOIR STALLS*** are the work of Sir George Gilbert Scott in the 1870s.

kůr
oni tím myslí zřejmě přepážky nebo "ohrádky", ale myslím, že v češtině to lze maličko zjednodušit

: Podle stavitele Scotta se nejspíše jedná o anglikánský kostel a v tom případě je chrámový sbor v přední části kostela

: kůr je v kostele u varhan, v "patře" chrámové lodi; je to místo pro zpěváky, chór je naopak určen kněžím nebo mnichům
