If nothing fits, should I just leave it as it is, maybe with a note? I've been translating for more than 20 years and never came up with a situation when the clien't can't provide an explanation...

Likewise, the authors believed that vascular rupture might result from hepatic blood flow obstruction secondary to complement-induced microvascular thrombosis.
