Italian term

fallimento

Italian to English Law/Patents Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs Divorce certificate
I do not know what this term is referring to in the context. Is it as simple as just "bankcruptcy"?

"Vi nominiamo nostro procuratore difensore, in ogni fase e grado de presente procedimento, anche in grado d’appello, ivi espressamente inclusa la fase esecutiva, di opposizione e fallimento conferendovi all’uopo ogni facolta di legge, "

Discussion

default = mancata comparizione (in tribunale); contumacia. This has nothing to do with "fallimento". https://books.google.it/books?id=MXFfsw5bq20C&pg=PA239&lpg=P...
Lara Barnett (asker) May 23, 2015:
Default I have found myself:
"DEFAULT: a party’s failure to answer a complaint, motion, or petition."

Therefore I shall be closing the question. If anybody has any reason to think this may be incorrect and can provide a more substantial answer I shall re-open the question.

Thanks everyone.
I have a hunch it could be: breakage of marriage or marriage failure.
You should ask if this refers to "fallimento del matrimonio" or to "fallimento=bankruptcy". In my opinion it refers to the first one. Bear in mind that "fallimento" can also mean: Mancanza, difetto, insufficienza; anche tradimento, inganno. You have a tricky word here.

bankruptcy

Although there are different types of bankcruptcy, this is the term used in the original text. It is not any other type of company closure. In fact the power of attorney mentions also the opposition phase to be carried out in the bankcruptcy court.
What this might have to do with a divorce case I frankly don't know, but I am sure you can see if it makes sense with the other elements in the case. HTH.
Note from asker:
Thank you for your explanation. The problem is that it does not "make sense with the other elements in the case" as far as I know from this certificate.

marriage failure looks better when referring to a divorce certificate, I have to admit.

dissolution of marriage does exist too but in Italian it is scioglimento
Note from asker:
Is this a common in divorce proceedings? I cannot see how it fits into the context - that is the problem.
