Constitutional appeal/appeal filed before the constitutional court

...against the judgment...

EKIP has also launched an appeal before the Constitutional Court against recent legislative amendments whereby the power of appointing the board of EKIP was transferred from the government to the parliament, as the new rules provide for the automatic dismissal of the board and EKIP’s executive director if its financial report is not approved by the parliament.

(Pe) Constitutional review application to correct a lower court error

normally in a judgment entered for the (AE) plaintiff or (BE) claimant but here: contra la sentencia .... que declara improcedente la demanda de autos.

On vaguely similar note, an appilcation for judicial review e.g. in the UK is otherwise of administrative action.

Agravio: error, lower court error; Mex. cause of action in amparo: over to our Mexican-based colleagues (Tom West III's ES>EN Law & Business Dictionary.

Example sentence:

neutral AllegroTrans : Good as reference/explanation but too long-winded as translation

It's actually shortened from an application for judicial review of a lower-court error.
agree Sandro Tomasi : If length is a problem, your term can be shortened to "Constitutional review application" since the rest is implied within the overall context.

constitutional grievance proceedings

I don't think any elaboration is needed
Peer comment(s):

neutral Sandro Tomasi : I'm inclined to disagree since I believe "grievance" is not appropriate this context. However, if you provide confirmatory information to your assertion, I may agree.
