Description:

All professional translators wishing to keep regular clients while meeting new ones should expand their translation business. Training, being up-to-date with translation software, networking, promotion, re-adjusting to translation market changes and gaining more experience should not only help translators maintain a good position in the market but also give them the chance to keep moving forward.

There is no such thing as enough experience or enough knowledge in the translation business. Translators must try to keep on top of new developments in the translation industry and make sure they offer what today's clients need.

In this session you will:

    Lucia -Lu- Leszinsky is a Spanish-English translator and interpreter, and a short-story writer. She got her translation degree at the National University of La Plata, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and has been working as part of the Member services team at ProZ.com since 2008. Lucia is in charge of ProZ.com Mobile, an application developed by ProZ.com for use on mobile devices.

    The recording and on-demand content is a really nice touch Sep 24, 2012

    Hello, thank you for this very clear and well presented session, I'm glad I could catch it despite not being available for the direct broadcast.
