My life has always been surrounded by books in English and Portuguese, and so my passion for literature has driven me to pursue a bachelor's degree in Translation. This career path provided me with the writing, interpreting, and research skills necessary to build my professional mindset focused on details and quality - a trait of bookworms passionate for learning and personal development.
Throughout my career, professional development has been an important point for me, which is why I've searched for opportunities to enhance my writing skills through courses and volunteer works in content writing, blogging, marketing, localization. Biggest challenges offer greater opportunities to learn and grow - and the biggest one has been translating and proofreading for Translators Without Borders, a community of translators and language service providers to help humanitarian causes around the world.
Personally, the goal to become a literary translator has also been a key force to experience as much translation and writing opportunities as possible, to enhance my writing skills, and offer the best language solutions. The result of all this effort appeared as the chance to be a literary translator at BabelCube, where I have built a professional history translating e-books available at Amazon.
Each project offered is taken seriously as a unique opportunity to learn and apply my knowledge; a chance to experience the world through language.
