Whenever I have negative/positive remarks | Jun 24, 2018 |
I must add that I’ve never been asked for positive feedback not to change or delete a negative comment.
When I want to say something positive or negative | Jun 24, 2018 |
I rarely post on the Blue Board, only when I have something really notable to say.

Very rarely. In fact, I think I've only commented on the BlueBoard once, and that was a long time ago.

There're different Black and Whitelists, yet how do 'so-privileged' non-members are supposed to leave feedback on the BB at the ProZ, I wonder? Besides, it's rather subjective for a last-time "poor" client may often turn out much better than a once "trusted" one, not to mention that "best" are often but hyped up.
Abusing the negative ratings | Jun 24, 2018 |
This happened to me recently. After unsuccessfully trying to get paid, I submitted a non-payment report through the blue board. As a pure act of revenge, the outsourcer decided to smear my reputation by entering a negative rating on my profile, having absolutely no basis for doing so. Although I complained to Proz about this, so far they don't seem to care. So I guess now the doors are wide open for abuse.

I classify all my clients in the Blue Board. If everything goes fine, and payment is on time, it's a 5. I only made two negative comments in the BB, one non-payer and one rat-race site. Both well deserved and with several other low scores. All others were fives.
