A Brief Introduction

For twenty-five years I worked as an engineering officer on seagoing vessels, and during my leave I worked as a writer and translator, mostly of technical texts. I resigned from the fleet in 2014 and continued my career as a translator.


I commonly work on one project at a time, and for larger projects that also involve editorial elements I prefer repeated personal contact either via email or Skype. But I'm also fine without. I’m entirely free to schedule my own time and do whatever it may take to provide my client with a pleasant, secure and high quality service.
Services

I translate, proofread, write or rewrite any text but I specialize in both technical manuals and texts written from a spiritual perspective. Both technical and spiritual texts are often riddled with specific jargon and I am thoroughly familiar with both fields.
