I am a certified freelance translator (IoL, DipTrans) with eight years' experience. I live and work in Devon, where I run my own company.

My previous career as a pan-European equity analyst for major US and European financial institutions gives me an edge in financial and business translations; I am also very much at home in the corporate social responsibility, social sciences, and legal sectors.

Recent examples of projects I have worked on in the financial and insurance sector over the past five years include financial statements for 15 of the French CAC 40 companies, documents relating to Solvency II and Basel III requirements as well as research publications, fund and IPO prospectuses, in-house magazines and minutes of Board Meetings for several French banks. Translations in the legal sector have included several high profile copyright cases, and various aspects of French employment and tax law. Recent translations in the social sciences sector have included resettlement and environmental assessment projects in Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as publications on climate change and French Social Security compliance.
